a thousand splendid suns is a pretty good read.. the perfect tear-jerker with elements of a love story intertwined with the issues of afghan.. never thought i'd be interested in the situation of afghan but it's a truly interesting eye-opener. a must-read!

now i'm starting on this vampire series.. twilight. apparently the first movie is coming out this dec... can't wait! everyone's crazy over the lead vampire edward.. but i haven't been swooned by him, yet.

arghh i'm really bored and restless.. i want to go somewhere. hk.. macau.. or just a spa trip somewhere nearby. can't wait for my dec hols but not before submitting my darn assignment.

nie-ntu has really cool stuff like meiji yoghurt vending machine, lotsa nice cafes and restaurants. u realise that my definition of good stuff is always centred around food.. it's a very important commodity to take my mind away from stress and keep me happy. i'm beginning to also notice that my nie tuesdays are largely spent lounging around eating, having two hour lunches in cafes and having tea in the canteen. i even snuck chocolate pucca into the library in an act of desperation. i just can't live without food.

hmm one last thing before i sleep. i really think that teachers dress very badly, and the trend starts when they're attending nie. oops. okie nites!
